In Fraternal Year 2016-2017, the George C. Shields KofC Council # 420 achieved Star Council by being awarded the Columbian Award for all their council activities and for reaching both their new membership goal and their insurance member goal.   In the photo above Massachusetts State Deputy Paul O'Sullivan (on the left) made a special trip to come to present the prestigious Star Council plaque in person during the December council meeting to Grand Knight Chris Goldner (on the right).  CONGRATULATIONS to all members of council # 420 for your hard work in achieving this wonderful recognition !
