The George C. Shields Council Knights of Columbus along with others distributed over 800 "Coats for Kids" at three of the five diocesan high schools (all five were contacted and these three accepted) on Saturday, November 30, 2019. The distributions were be held at Coyle and Cassidy High School in Taunton, Bishop Connolly High School in Fall River and Bishop Stang High School in North Dartmouth from 9am until noon. Over 700 coats were available at each distribution site.
The coats for the "Coats for Kids" event are all lined up and ready for distribution at Bishop Stang High School. In the photos above are LtoR: Jack O'Brien, Owen Harren, Mike Healey and Brian Healy.
